I competed in the 2000 Southern Saskatchewan Bodybuilding Competition in Moose Jaw, where I took first place in the Women’s Class and also placed first as Best Female Poser!

I operated Bodies By Choice for 5 years and sold it in June 2003, to the fabulous Arlene Helgason, who still operates it.

In June 2003 I moved to Prince Albert and started personal training at Bravo for Women. Thanks to the amazing ladies at Bravo, and Heather Bravo, my business grew and GREW! As business grew my time became more valuable and I wanted to be able to train more clients at once.

So in April 2005 I started an outdoor boot camp/personal training class.  I found my passion! I loved training clients and I also loved being outside. It was the best of both worlds.

Then in February 2006, I flew to Whistler, BC to meet Buddy Lee and complete his Jump Rope Certification – Level 1 Training through the Buddy Lee Jump Rope Institute. I instantly became a fan of Buddy and the Buddy Lee jump ropes which I LOVE and currently sell.  It’s a small inexpensive piece of fitness equipment which you can do in small space and reap many benefits.  If you haven’t tried a Buddy Lee rope with the swivel bearing system, I recommend trying it out:)

I loved working for myself and my own fitness company, but I missed being part of a team and having a network of trainers to connect and share ideas with.  So, in June 2007, I joined the Bikini Boot Camp company based out of Calgary.  With this company I was fortunate to train many clients in Prince Albert, Emma Lake, Christopher Lake, and Candle Lake.  I was also fortunate to travel to Tulum, Mexico and train clients at the Bikini Boot Camp retreat for in 2008 and 2009.  I am grateful to Dawn and Lindsay for believing in me and making me feel like family.  Bikini Boot Camp will always be a part of me:)
